TAPIR LODGE

CUYABENO JUNGLE TOURS

Tapir Lodge was created with a clear purpose: to offer travelers an authentic, eco-friendly way to experience the Ecuadorian Amazon in harmony with nature and local communities.

Located in the heart of the Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve, the lodge was developed in collaboration with Siona families, ensuring that responsible tourism directly supports the people who have long called the rainforest home.

As one of the region’s pioneering eco-lodges, Tapir Lodge runs entirely on solar energy, uses composting dry toilets, and follows strict low-impact practices to protect the Cuyabeno River and its diverse wildlife.

Its two 15-meter towers replace traditional cabins, offering a unique stay elevated above the forest floor. This innovative design brings guests closer to the essence of the Amazon while minimizing environmental impact.

Tapir Lodge stands for nature, community, and purpose—inviting travelers to discover the Amazon in a way that truly matters.

Why Tapir Lodge?

Tapir Lodge offers immersive, personalized tours in the heart of the Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve. Small-group adventures are designed for nature lovers, birdwatchers, and travelers seeking peace in the rainforest—always with a strong commitment to ecological and responsible travel.
