DAY 1: TRANSFER AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL
Welcome to Ecuador! Upon your arrival at Mariscal Sucre International Airport (UIO), our guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.

DAY 2: QUITO CITY TOUR - MITAD DEL MUNDO - TELEFERICO
We’ll explore some of Quito’s most iconic squares, churches, and colonial landmarks. Our tour begins at Plaza de la Independencia, home to the Presidential Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Municipal Building, the Statue of Independence, and the Cathedral. Next, we’ll visit the churches of El Sagrario and La Compania, followed by the impressive Church and Convent of San Francisco. Inside, you’ll be amazed by the lavish gold-leaf decoration of Quito’s oldest church. We then head up to El Panecillo, where the towering Statue of the Virgin of Quito stands. From this vantage point, enjoy panoramic views of both the northern and southern parts of the city, along with the surrounding snow-capped volcanoes. In the afternoon, we’ll visit the famous Mitad del Mundo (Middle of the World) one of Quito’s top attractions. Here, you can explore the monument marking the equator or dive into interactive exhibits at the Intiñan Museum, where you'll learn about the solar system, equatorial phenomena, ancient cultures, and more. Our final stop is the Teleferico, Quito’s spectacular cable car. Ascending over 2,500 meters, it takes you to the slopes of the Pichincha Volcano, offering breathtaking views of Quito’s north, center, and south. After this unforgettable experience, we’ll return to your hotel.

DAY 3: FLIGHT TO COCA FOR JUNGLE TOUR (SAMPLE ITINERARY)
Your Amazon adventure begins with a early transfer to the Quito Airpor for a 30-Min flight from Quito to the jungle town of Coca. Upon arrival, a brief transfer takes you to a private dock where you’ll be welcomed with refreshments and a delicious boxed lunch. From here, embark on a two-hour motorboat ride along the majestic Napo River, spotting wildlife along the way. The journey continues with a serene paddle canoe trip through winding creeks, where you may encounter playful monkeys, colorful birds, and other creatures of the forest. By afternoon, you’ll reach Lake Añangu, home to the Napo Wildlife Center. A welcome drink awaits as you admire the stunning lagoon scenery. After a briefing on lodge services, settle into your comfortable jungle-view room, perfectly designed for rest and immersion in the Amazon.

DAY 4: PARROT CLAY LICK - KICHWA COMMUNITY
Start the day with an excursion to the parrot clay licks, one of the Amazon’s most extraordinary wildlife spectacles. Watch as parrots, parakeets, and macaws gather in large numbers to feed on the mineral-rich clay. Later, visit the Kichwa Interpretation Center “Kuri Muyu”, run by local women, where you’ll learn about Kichwa traditions and browse handmade crafts. Continue through the terra firme forest toward a second clay lick, observing birds, mammals, and exotic plants. After lunch, return to the lodge by canoe, keeping an eye out for more wildlife. Dinner is served at the lodge’s Amazon-inspired restaurant.

DAY 5: OBSERVATION TOWER - NIGHT WALK
Today enjoy a sunrise hike to the 36-meter observation tower, built alongside a giant Ceibo tree. From the treetop canopy, spot macaws, toucans, tanagers, and monkeys, and take in panoramic views of the rainforest. In the afternoon, hike through terra firme forest trails, where encounters with golden-mantled tamarin monkeys are possible. Later, explore the lake and creeks by canoe in search of giant river otters. After dinner, join a guided night walk, discovering insects, reptiles, amphibians, and perhaps even nocturnal monkeys.

DAY 6: WILDLIFE ENCOUNTERS - CANOE EXPLORATION
Today’s adventure begins with a guided hike through terra firme and swamp forests, habitats for capuchin monkeys, sloths, tamarins, and more. After lunch at the lodge, relax before boarding rowing canoes to quietly navigate the streams and lagoons. This serene activity provides more chances to admire the region’s unique biodiversity and immerse yourself in the sounds of the jungle. The day ends with a delicious dinner and the tranquility of the Amazon rainforest.

DAY 7: COCA - RETURN FLIGHT TO QUITO
Your last morning begins with the soothing sounds of the rainforest at dawn. After an early breakfast, board a canoe for the return journey through the Añangu stream. As you glide along the still waters, take in the peaceful atmosphere and listen to the awakening jungle. At the welcome area, switch to a motorized boat for the scenic trip back to Coca. Upon arrival, you’ll check in for your return flight to Quito, carrying with you unforgettable memories of your Amazon Rainforest adventure. Early in the morning take the complimentary shuttle to the Airport for 3-hours flight to the Galapagos Islands. Your voyage to the captivating Galapagos Islands starts! Upon your arrival at Baltra Airport, you'll be greeted by the National Park-certified naturalist guide, ready to introduce you to the unique wonders of this pristine archipelago.
PM: SAN CRISTOBAL: ENCOUNTERING WILDLIFE AT LOBOS ISLAND
Venture to Lobos Island, a tranquil islet secluded from San Cristobal by a slim channel. This nature's cradle, amidst a serene bay, is the playground for sea lion pups frolicking in tidal pools. The island might be modest in size, but it bursts with life, particularly with "lobos marinos" or sea lions. As you step ashore, welcoming committees of sea lions would greet you, only to be outraged by the male frigatebirds inland, presenting their inflamed red balloons amidst the verdant foliage. Stay vigilant for the blue-footed boobies nesting on the trails, ready to treat you to a display of their whimsical courtship dance.
Snorkeling Experience: Dive into an underwater ballet at this renowned snorkeling spot, sheltered by the calm waves. Playful sea lions would eagerly display their acrobatic prowess. This idyllic setting invites you to stroll along the coast, immersing yourself in an enlightening experience as you delve into the biology of the endemic fauna - from the melodious Española mockingbird and the unique marine iguanas to the regal Galapagos hawks.
Snorkeling Experience: Submerge beneath the azure waves to witness a spectacular performance choreographed by marine life. Swim alongside playful sea lions, graceful reef sharks, and gliding rays. Discover an array of fish, including vivid Angelfish, charismatic Parrotfish, dynamic Damselfish, and the ever-busy Surgeonfish coloring the underwater landscape.

Transition into the afternoon with a thrilling adventure to Suarez Point. This rocky trail presents a natural gallery of the Galapagos islands, brimming with an awe-inspiring array of fauna. Upon landing, you'll be greeted by sea lions and marine iguanas, your first hosts in this nature carnival. As you venture further, you'll encounter a mosaic of seabird colonies - from the striking Nazca and blue-footed boobies to the elegant gulls and tropicbirds. The pinnacle of this journey brings you face-to-face with the waved albatross, the island's largest bird (present from April to January). This majestic creature, exclusive to Española, will captivate you with its powerful flight and intricate courtship display.

DAY 10: FLOREANA ISLAND
AM: FLOREANA: POST OFFICE BAY
Begin your day by stepping into the footprints of the past at Post Office Bay, located on the enigmatic Floreana Island. This locale is imbued with tales from the late 1920s and '30s involving German settlers, a baroness, unsolved mysteries, and captivating intrigue. The bay was a historic anchoring point for whalers, who journeyed to the highlands for freshwater and tortoises. A mail system over two centuries old was established as a hub for visiting vessels centered around a barrel near the beach. This system endures today, offering a unique opportunity to send postcards from this remote part of the world. Apart from its rich history, Post Office Bay presents natural attractions such as a scenic beach, a lava tunnel, and sea tours that can unveil sea lions, green sea turtles, shorebirds, small sharks, and, if luck permits, Galapagos penguins.
Snorkeling Experience: Delve beneath the waves right from the beach, opening up a mesmerizing world of sea turtles, rays, and a diverse plethora of fish. Keep your fingers crossed for a special appearance by the elusive Galapagos penguin.

PM: FLOREANA: CORMORANT POINT / DEVIL'S CROWN
Shift your expedition northwards to Punta Cormorant, renowned for its expansive coastal lagoon teeming with American flamingos, white-cheeked pintails, black-necked stilts, and other shorebirds. This natural haven also features a pristine white sand beach, a crucial nesting ground for green sea turtles, and a newly established breeding ground for blue-footed boobies near the trail. Amidst this vibrant wildlife, also take the opportunity to admire the island's unique flora.
Snorkeling Experience: At Devil's Crown, an eroded little volcano adjacent to Floreana Island, dive into what many consider one of the best snorkeling sites in the entire Galapagos. The Crown's currents funnel plankton, attracting a spectacular congregation of marine life, including snapper, Creole fish, parrot fish, Angelfish, reef sharks, sea turtles, and rays.

DAY 11: SANTA FE AND SOUTH PLAZAS

Tucked within one of the Galapagos' most breathtaking bays, Santa Fe's turquoise waters, and white-sand beaches form an inviting residence for a sizable colony of sea lions you'll find lounging about. As you venture inland, remember to look down to spot the endemic Santa Fe land iguanas, but also glance upward to catch sight of the Galapagos hawks perched atop cacti, keeping a keen eye out for prey. You'll likely encounter Darwin finches, Galapagos doves, mockingbirds, and lively lava lizards along the trail.
Snorkeling Experience: After your exploratory hike, the sheltered bay offers you a choice: paddle through serene waters on a kayak or plunge beneath the surface to snorkel with playful sea lion pups and reef sharks. Also, keep an eye out for graceful sea turtles, gliding rays, and the swirling colors of tropical fish, including large schools of Surgeonfish and Parrotfish.

Your afternoon destination is South Plazas, one of a twin pair of islands where the northern sibling is reserved exclusively for scientific research. Though petite in size, this islet brims with a fantastic array of wildlife. Upon landing, Galapagos land iguanas will welcome you from beneath prickly-pear cacti, eagerly awaiting their fruit. Sea lions populate the island in large numbers, allowing you to observe their fascinating social dynamics, from playful pups splashing in tide pools to formidable males protecting their territories. Your trail eventually leads you to a cliff, a vantage point to observe a myriad of seabirds, including frigatebirds, red-billed tropicbirds, boobies, swallow-tailed gulls, and pelicans. A verdant carpet of reddish succulent vegetation dotted with scattered cacti blankets the island, giving South Plazas a genuinely unique personality.
