Climate: Peru is a year-round destination. The country has a wide range of climates, depending on altitude, location and due to the effects of the Andes and the impact of sea currents. 
Documents: Peru is a safe destination. It is recommended to carry a copy of your passport with you for all trips in Peru and to leave the original in your place of lodging. In big cities, it is necessary to take precautions as in any other city in the world. 
Language: Spanish is the official language; Quechua is spoken in indigenous communities. English is widely spoken.
