At the scheduled time, your guide will meet you at the designated meeting point in Quito and begin the journey south along the Pan-American Highway toward Cotopaxi National Park. After approximately 1.5 hours, enter the park and continue through scenic pine forests to the Visitor Center. From there, travel by 4WD vehicle to approximately 4,600 meters (15,000 feet), where you can enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding Andean volcanoes, weather permitting.

After taking in the scenery and capturing memorable photographs, continue by vehicle toward the starting point of the biking adventure. At the base of Cotopaxi Volcano, begin cycling along a scenic single-track trail through the park's remote highlands. This lesser-visited area offers an authentic adventure surrounded by dramatic volcanic landscapes, with spectacular views of Cotopaxi and the possibility of spotting wild horses roaming freely.

Along the route, stop at a natural spring where crystal-clear water emerges from the mountains. Enjoy a box lunch surrounded by the peaceful Andean scenery before continuing the ride through the vast high-altitude plains.
